ABOUT THE POSITION
The BMS Engineer will be responsible for the development, and validation of the Battery Management System (BMS) including hardware (HW) and software (SW) to Fluence requirements. They will work with the system-level controls team to ensure the successful integration of the BMS in the Fluence operating system. The leader will foster an environment of collaboration seamlessly with the hardware, software and testing teams and will actively reach out to other teams they interface with. They will ensure that interfaces of batteries and associated hardware/software are well understood and documented.
The person in this role will lead a team that delivers on time and launches with excellence. They will foster a culture of accountability and the pride that goes with delivering excellence. The person in this role will be able to reach out across the corporation to collaborate with others outside of Engineering.
