About the company:
Join the Battery test centre in Bristol as an Facility Technician and help us to achieve our mission of pioneering electric aviation.
What success will look like for you, as an Facility Technician?
As a Battery Facility Technician, you will be required to assist in all aspects of work at our battery development centre which is currently focused on building and testing prototype batteries.
You will be required to carry out fault finding and diagnostics on facility and equipment in both mechanical and electrical areas.
You will be working alongside the Facility Engineer to implement facility improvements and new capability including the installation and setup of new manufacturing and test equipment.
You will help with preventive maintenance and calibration of manufacturing and test equipment by carrying out maintenance activities and organising and managing outsource of other maintenance and calibration.
What would we like you to bring.
We want you to be successful in your role, in order to achieve this, you will need to have proven experience with both mechanical and electrical skills, including Industrial electrical and equipment wiring with a background in automotive, industrial, or aerospace.
Additionally, You would have experience with wiring, crimping, soldering etc. – experience of working with typical MIL/aerospace connectors would be beneficial.
Preferably you will have a good working knowledge of electrical schematics and technical assembly drawings.
