Role Description
The Associate Warehouse Manager is part of the Operations Team and provides the critical function of managing the day-to-day activities of shipping, receiving, storage, stocking and inventory of a fast-paced Manufacturing/Engineering/R&D team. Having the right parts, equipment, and materials in the correct location ready for use is a critical and necessary function for the success of the team and achieving corporate goals. Working closely with manufacturing, engineering, lab management, and procurement teams, you will bring the experience, confidence and knowledge to execute the current shipping, receiving and inventory systems and continuously improve the systems. Your primary customers will be our team members in CA, and you will provide support and coordination to our Form Energy PA and MA teams for cross country transfer of materials.
This opportunity is based out of Form Energy's Eighty Four, PA location (Greater Pittsburgh Area).

What You'll Do:
Manage the day-to-day activities of the warehouse and ensure safety and housekeeping standardsSet up and maintain ERP or similar systems as well as physical inventory cycle counting practicesProvide day-to-day inventory control support to technical teams with assembly and distribution areasMonitor and maintain inventory levels of critical project parts to assure parts are readily available Develop and manage relationships with external vendors as well as our internal supply chain organization Respond to internal and external audits of goods, materials, and equipment. Perform quality control checks on incoming material to determine physical and financial variances; conduct e inspections, manage defective receipts, tag assets and record all incoming capital equipmentEnsure all international shipments comply with Export Administration Regulations and all domestic shipments are properly prepared meeting DOT, IATA and applicable standardsMonitor proper handling of HAZMAT chemicals and ensure EHS is informed of any anomalies or new chemicals receivedCreate excellent notification system to inform site tenants of package receipts and any delivery challenges for technical build areasWhat You'll Bring:
5-10 years of progressively increasing responsibilities for warehouse processes and people managementExperience in developing, implementing, and maintaining warehouse systemsExperience as a super user or admin in Netsuite, InMass, SAP or other WMS software systemsStrong experience in inventory tools, cloud-based google suite, and ERP systems Experience managing warehouses in R&D environment, with a lot of change in standard inventories and high amount of unique custom packagesAbility to re-prioritize and adapt to the needs of the build plans or research while maintaining required documentation, processes, and standardsStrong communication and collaboration skills Current knowledge of all applicable shipping, and storage standards for permitting, safety and compliance
