WE BELIEVE THERE’S A BETTER WAY TO FEED OUR FUTURE.
By shifting from animal to plant-based meat, we can positively affect the planet, the environment, the climate and even ourselves. After all, the positive choices we make every day – no matter how small – can have a great impact on our world.
COMPANY DESCRIPTION
At Beyond Meat, we started with simple questions. Why do you need an animal to create meat? Why can’t you build meat directly from plants? Thus, we make plant-based meats that allow families to eat more, not less, of the traditional dishes they love while feeling great about the health, sustainability, and animal welfare benefits of plant protein. Our goal is to bring exciting change to the plate—and Beyond.
OVERVIEW
At Beyond Meat, we are focused on raising the bar on talent. We are dedicated to shaping an inclusive culture that drives excellence, innovation, and results by enabling talent acceleration and development, engagement, and the employee experience. The El Segundo R&D Innovation Team is a matrix organization within Beyond Meat that is dedicated to creating food products that are leading the gold standard in plant-based proteins. We are seeking a dependable, confident, innovative individual to join the Engineering Team as an Associate Engineer-CNC Machinist.
The CNC Machinist’s primary role is to bring CAD/CAM models to life with high precision, using a 5 axis Computer-Numeric-Controlled vertical milling machine. Most of the machining work needed to be done at Beyond Meat consists of one-off parts, mostly made of stainless steel. The role includes working with the engineering team to verify designs for manufacturability, ordering the appropriate raw materials and tooling as necessary, keeping the machine shop clean and organized, and of course, CAM + machining.
Beyond Meat is an equal employment opportunity employer. Candidates are considered for employment without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, ancestry, veteran status, marital status, gender identify, sexual orientation, national origin, liability for military service, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
