This is what you’ll do:

  • Troubleshoot inbound delivery issues from suppliers and provide corrective action to our internal teams.
  • Work with suppliers to improve delivery processes and mitigate issues before they reach our plant.
  • Gather important survey and questionnaire data from our Supply Base and report to cross-functional teams.
  • Liase with accounting team and suppliers to resolve invoicing discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement invoicing and emergency payment strategy.
  • Support packaging data collection effort and work with delinquent suppliers.
  • Develop, update and deploy training to both internal Rivian teams and Supplier Partners.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for supplier chargeback scenarios.
  • Develop and execute Supplier audit strategies to support Compliance and Onboarding Certification Program
  • Work cross-functionally within Purchasing, Logistics, Quality and Program Management to implement and drive compliance toward the Rivian Supply Chain Scorecard and Compliance Program.
  • Support ongoing business operations readiness projects toward pre-production and production milestones and deliverables within Supply Chain, including business-process definition, program management support, KPI definition.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis for supplier performance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and respond to Supplier issues regarding Rivian Supplier Portal. Support training and retraining of suppliers on Rivian processes.
  • Troubleshoot Supplier supply chain issues regardless of department (Purchasing, Logistics, Invoicing, Delivery, etc.) Identify root cause and support Suppliers with corrective action.
  • Support Supplier Operations Strategy and Stability groups as needed.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 1+ years Supply Chain experience interacting with external suppliers/stakeholders
  • 1+ years MRP/EDI experience
  • 1+ years SAP experience
  • 1+ years MS Excel
  • 1+ years with visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI, etc. 
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Project Portfolio Details:

The following is a high-level breakdown of the properties and team-activities in which the Supply Chain Systems & Analytics Team will be engaged over the next several years. This role will partially support the following:

Business Systems:

  • ERP Enterprise Landscape (Sourcing, Implementation, reporting and monitoring, enhancement).
  • Indirect Purchasing System Enhancement (Coupa)
  • Transportation Management System
  • Supplier Onboarding/Management Portal
  • Quality Management System
  • Procure-to-Pay Systems and Data Infrastructure landscape.
  • Business Intelligence Systems

Analytics:

  • Supply Chain KPI Development and Tracking
  • Purchasing/Supplier master data analytics
  • Business Process definition and support (supply chain-wide)

Program Management:

  • Tools and KPIs/Reports to manage Sourcing progress toward SOP
  • Cross-Functional KPI Development
  • Liaising between Supply Chain and Engineering teams to align on BOM data and program progress.
  • Supplier Onboarding and Compliance Program
  • Supply Chain BOM development for Pre-SOP program status/progress.
