We are currently seeking an IT Compliance Manager.  This position requires an experienced professional with a focus in IT compliance and regulations. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. The Role:

  • Creates and/or remediates ITGC (IT General Controls) in support of meeting audit objectives for all ITGC SOX areas.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure IT SOX and compliance requirements are being met
  • Coordinate with Privacy / Legal to ensure the overall compliance landscape is well understood and the program captures a complete view of our compliance needs.
  • Document and monitor the implementation of controls for technology and business project plans.
  • Observe IT Process, review and document any remediation efforts as needed.
  • Lead compliance enhancement projects focused on new or changing technologies.
  • Collaborate with IT control owners to ensure timely completion of period controls and compliance
  • Improve compliance with security standards and policies across enterprise teams.
  • Participate in testing and monitoring of compliance controls executed by enterprise teams.
  • Develop metrics to measure and track compliance, risk and the effectiveness of the IT processes
  • Publish executive-level reporting across compliance activities.
  • Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience in Information Studies, Computer Sciences/Engineering required
  • 3-5 years of experience working within an IT department
  • 2-3 years managing or documenting IT processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with SOX IT requirements
  • ITIL certification or knowledge preferred
  • Compliance background a plus
  • Experience with BC/DR planning a plus
  • Strong analysis, issue identification and resolution skills
  • Ability to work on a team, as well as independently
  • Ability to manage projects, prioritize own tasks and organize assigned work to completion
  • Experience with vendor relationship management is a plus
