We are looking for an Airframe Aircraft Engineer who will:

The responsibilities and duties of  Airframe Aircraft Engineer will be as follows:

Leading the integration activities at aircraft level to enable certification.  You will be able to define and drive the certification activities required for certification,  V&V and Means of Compliance of the airframe.  You will have experience of integrating activities across the main structural technical functions to ensure that a harmonised approach is used and a fully integrated solution is delivered.  You are a team player that has great communications skills and are capable of reporting to all company levels. 

The successful Airframe Aircraft Engineer will have the following Experience & Qualifications:

A career background in aerospace would be particularly advantageous, together with an interest in green technology and/or aviation. You will need:

  • A blend of iQ and eQ, the ability to solve new problems in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • A passion for building something new.
  • A demonstrable track record of leadership integrating large aircraft components and certification activities specific to the airframe
  • The ability to deliver exceptional technical leadership
  • Good understanding of the specific technical functions within Airframe and a understanding of the functions you will need to liaise with
  • The gravitas and leadership capability to offer opinion as part of the structures and wider aircraft development team, serving as a true partner to colleagues across the business.
  • 10 years + relevant industrial experience
  • Degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field
  • Industry recognised expert in static analysis
  • Have gained relevant technical signature rights
