About the company:

Revolutionising urban air mobility and electrifying air travel

Join the Build and Maintenance Team based in Kemble and Bristol as an Aircraft Maintenance Planner and help us to achieve our mission of pioneering electric aviation.

What success will look like for you, as an Aircraft Maintenance Planner?

As an Aircraft Maintenance Planner you will be responsible for planning of mx work packs for 2x prototype aircraft in liaison with the Flight Test Delivery team. You will also be part of the maintenance capability development for the VX4 certification aircraft programme starting in 2025.  The position also includes responsibility for tracking and upkeep of continued airworthiness records and management of technical publication updates such as the Aircraft Maintenance Manual.

You will be working closely with a variety of in-house engineering teams and external suppliers. It goes without saying you will need excellent technical record-keeping skills as you will be in charge of ensuring we are on top of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance problems, ensuring our maintenance manuals are up to date and any issues are resolved in a timely manner or escalated to the Airworthiness team where not solvable.

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Aircraft Build & Maintenance and be a key member of the Build and Maintenance team, supporting the continued development of in-house expertise, specialist knowledge and capabilities.

What we would like you to bring?

We want you to be successful in your role, in order to achieve this, you will need to have proven experience with administration/coordination of technical records or maintenance plans, ideally within aerospace. Additionally, you will need an excellent working knowledge of aircraft maintenance (documentation/manuals/drawings), IT skills (AMO documentation tracking & Microsoft Office) and strong attention to detail. Ideally, you will have a background in aircraft maintenance or an accredited aerospace engineering qualification.

We're on a mission. Where others see limits, we see opportunity, and we work at pace. Working at Vertical isn't your average role but for those seeking a challenge, a flexible, supportive organisation and an incredible team; working here is an opportunity to do the best work of your career.
