This role will leverage agronomic and industry knowledge to create engaging, authentic, and timely content for use in marketing and commercial activities. The ideal candidate will bridge field insights with marketing strategies, providing insights and developing content for use to power social media posts, videos, and other marketing mediums that resonate with our audience to educate, drive brand awareness and support sales.
Essential Functions:
- Execute content marketing strategies centered on agronomy and crop nutrients.
- Create high-quality, engaging content for social media platforms, including posts, videos, and podcasts.
- Partner with Agronomy teams and IT to collect and quickly share impactful agronomic data and insights.
- Analyze data, photos, and third-party information to identify trends and opportunities for content creation.
- Act as a conduit for field feedback, incorporating insights from farmers and agronomists into marketing content.
- Development and deployment of sales and agronomic collateral
- Designing and executing in person agronomic experiences to educate farmers and distribution partners on the value and benefit of Pivot Bio products.
- Identify and engage with relevant third-party content to amplify our brand’s message.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with overall marketing objectives.
- Partner with Innovation, Agronomy and Product Management teams to distill complex scientific insights into impactful and easy to understand marketing content.
- Work with third party distribution to assist in the development of impactful content to support Pivot Bio sales.
- Monitor and analyze content performance, using data to refine strategies and improve engagement.
Competencies:
- Expertise in crop fertility, agronomy, crop physiology, and soil science.
- Understanding the relationship between on-farm fertility practices and soil biology.
- Fluent in understanding and ability to educate on nitrogen and nitrogen management.
- Experience with crop modeling, precision agriculture, and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of agronomy and current trends in agriculture.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling content for diverse platforms.
- Proficiency with social media and content creation tools.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in agronomy, agricultural sciences, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in agronomy or crop consulting.
