More about the team you will be joining as a Advanced Design Assurance Engineer

Aircraft Integration Squad is responsible to ensure integrated solutions definition and implementation at the aircraft level by engaging with interfacing teams, reducing ambiguity and enabling simple yet robust system engineering/aircraft development framework.

My Impact as a Advanced Design Assurance Engineer

As a Design Assurance Engineer you will be key to enable teams to execute the work following correct processes and guidance. The impact expected is to increase overall company adherence to processes and therefore overall quality of generated data. Identifying and resolving process gaps will lead to improvement on execution and company ability to achieve its goals.

What success will look like for the Advanced Design Assurance Engineer

You will be coordinating the activities related to Design Assurance, while ensuring and guiding the teams to execute according to the processes.

You will review teams outputs and ensure technical robustness and as well adherence to applicable processes. Evaluate evidences to support safety and design assurance technical justification.

You will create/update processes and guidance to enable most efficient execution of task and use of requirement manage tool and issue management tools.

You will track execution of Requirements Capture, Validation and Verification activities, identify and resolve potential process non compliances.

As part of aircraft integration squad there will be multiple other opportunities such as execution of V&V related work at aircraft level, active engagement on aircraft level testing, coordination with cert authorities, taking part in audits both internally and with suppliers.

Everything sounds very interesting but how do I know this is the role for me?

We are looking for people that will have the following qualifications and experiences:

Education to degree level or higher in an Engineering discipline (Aeronautical, Mechanical, SW or Electrical or equivalent)
Previous experience on ARP4754 is required.
An understanding of RTCA DO-178C, and RTCA DO-254.
An understanding of EASA Part 21 Subpart G and ARP 4671.
Experience with 2X.1309 (SVCTOL.2510) analyses and guidance material.
Demonstrable experience of aircraft and/or system development process and design assurance.
