Engineering/Automotive Degree or relevant experience with Experience of whole vehicle testing in OEM, tier one or testing facilitiesKnowledge of vehicle instrumentation Experience in data processing and reporting with Microsoft WordExperience of building close working relationships internally and with external testing facilities.Experience of using problem solving techniques in tight timing constraints IT literate (competent user of MS products e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Highly skilled in, and familiar with the development and design of ADAS technology, associated Software & hardware.Experienced in testing ADAS & AS systems on vehiclesProject Management, test planning and DVP creationAble to convert schematics into prototype (and subsequent production intent) wiring harness drawings for manufacturing.Ability to extract important information from pinouts, datasheets, technical drawings detailed schematics and high-level architecture drawingsExperienced CAN/LIN/Ethernet networks to diagnose and communicate with vehicles and systemsPotential to get hands on and build or modify one-offs/prototypesResponsibilities
Understanding requirements, reviewing DFMEAs and creating a DVP to validate ADAS systems for all requirements including legal.Owning the ADAS DVP for multiple projectsPlanning testing, preparing vehicles and executing ADAS testing·Creating the most efficient plan ever seen to validate ADAS for Arrival products·Coordinate component changes and vehicle updates prior to testing·Organise internal and external testing facilities·Create test reports and report effectively to the wider engineering teams to effect changes and improvements·Advise vehicle fixes to meet attribute requirements and follow until implementation·Liase with designers and product owners to identify risks during the design phase, solve issues during testing and sign of systems before SOP.
