Accounts Payable Assistant

The Accounts Payable Assistant will be responsible for completing the group’s day to day transactional processing.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes

• Administration and management of accounts payable for all entities within the group.

• Ensure appropriate authorisation for all purchases, including travel expenses.
• Processing purchase invoices in the ERP.
• Perform initial review of expenses to ensure appropriate approvals obtained and correct coding in the ERP.
• Corporate card management.
• Cash administration and management:
• Manage India banking transactions, including preparation of payment run files.
• Perform month-end bank reconciliations for all entities within the group.
• Act as key point of contact for any employee queries regarding the expenses system.
• Ensure adherence to all financial reporting deadlines across the group.
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Provide support to the Head of Finance & Administration

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should have a combination of the below knowledge, skills, and experience:

° Experience working with SAP preferable, but not essential.

° Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint presentation skills

° Close attention to detail
