Your responsibilities

Review and maintain accurate financial documents, files and records for accuracy, completeness, validity, and adherence to company standards

Apply accounting procedures and practices to the analysis of basic accounting problems

Analyze and interpret accounting data, verify accuracy of billing data and correct any errors

Execute daily administrative / operational tasks and prepare detailed reports and correspondence to management

Provide administrative support, including distributing, filing, and processing mail, and other correspondence, etc.

Ad-hoc tasks across different functions and seniority levels (e.g. preparing presentation materials, go-to person for all office needs, handling of building maintenance requests)

Specific Requirements

Formal training as a bookkeeper or 2+ years of financial record-keeping experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google apps, and other web applications

Excellent communication (written, verbal, presentation and listening) in German and English

Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail

Self-motivated, flexible, and comfortable with a fast-paced start-up environment

Exceptional interpersonal skills: upbeat, can-do attitude, friendly and professional
