Rivian’s Learning and Development Team is responsible for the initial onboarding and ongoing education of the Rivian family. We are seeking an experienced 3D animator to assist in the development of technical training content, including high-quality realistic renderings, instructional videos, and interactive resources. This individual will work with Rivian’s Technical Training Manager to create content for Rivian’s energy and charging products.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and working independently, has an aptitude for logical problem-solving, can comprehend complex technical and electrical system concepts, and prides workmanship above all.

Responsibilities:

Create realistic 3D renderings
Assist with the creation of detailed, animated, training videos and interactive resources

Qualifications:

+3 years of 3D animation experience with strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the field
High school diploma or state-recognized GED
Excellent communication skills
Ability to understand technical and electrical system concepts
Ability to break down complex projects into distinct tasks
Experience with 3D modeling, lighting, and animation
Experience with video editing
Experience with Blender, Maya, or similar platforms
Experience with AutoCAD and CATIA
Must be able to handle complete workflow from model creation to final video production
Excellent time management skills
