2026 Summer High School Job Shadow Experience

BETA Technologies is creating an electric transportation ecosystem that’s safe, reliable and sustainable. A relentlessly focused team is building an extensive charging infrastructure and ALIA, the world’s most technologically advanced electric vertical aircraft (EVA).

BETA’s platform and products are strikingly simple. Prioritization of safety and a pragmatic approach to certification drive elegant redundancy, appropriate diversity of implementation and simplicity of control. ALIA’s fixed-pitch propellers and centrally located batteries make it an inherently stable aircraft that is safe to fly and easy to maneuver.

BETA’s High School Job Shadow Experience offers two separate week-long summer sessions for students to explore careers in electric aviation. Participants take part in hands-on workshops, meet BETA team members, and get exposure to areas like advanced manufacturing, aviation, electronics, and creative fields. Students also build early professional skills such as resume writing, LinkedIn basics, networking, and presenting themselves in professional settings. Hosted at BETA’s South Burlington locations, the program provides a behind-the-scenes look at an electric aerospace company working to build the future of sustainable flight.

 

Applicants must be enrolled in high school and be at least 16 years old. A total of 12 students will be accepted per session. Ideal candidates display a positive attitude, willingness to learn, enthusiasm, and curiosity! Applicants will be required to submit a resume and cover letter. Upon receipt, they will be invited to a Video Interview.
