Director, Technical Support

What You Will Be Doing

The Sr.Manager will be responsible for multiple deliverables which enables technical support services. Primarily engaging in management of technology training, process training, product trainings and content development, to ensure optimal skillset development across the team. Sr.Mgr would be performing a combination of Managing Technical enablement operations as well as work with providing inputs to Tools/Automation team on training automation development. The Sr.Manager needs to be flexible to cover different shift times. The Sr.Mgr needs to have a pro-active approach to any unforeseen issues. The Sr.Mgr we are looking for must have an interest in Customer Service and ability to work in an exciting and fast-paced Internet & Social industry.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • Perform analysis of training requirements, Tools & technology necessary for Technical enablement of
  • Work closely with the operations team to analyze and help improve training delivery processes
  • Generate ideas for training workflow improvement, planning and forecasting
  • Manage technical, product and process training tools and content creation
  • Use trends and reports to forecast training and tools & automation requirements
  • Assist with projects and other duties as requested or assigned
  • Ability to work effectively in Night shift
  • Strong operational skills in managing teams focusing on the following skill-sets: Networking, EV Charging, Linux, Shell Scripting
  • Video & Text oriented Knowledge base workflow/tools management (Article creation, Review & Publishing)

Skills

  • Demonstrate sound work ethic
  • Must have advanced people management skill set as well significant past experience in operations
  • Ability to create reports in Excel and perform planning & forecasting of training requirements
  • Capability to manage enterprise level support enablement teams
  • Ability to multi-task, focus and deliver consistent, measurable results
  • Previous call center experience required 
  • Previous experience performing large scale technical enablement is considered an asset.

  • Capable of managing multiple, simultaneous projects with strict timelines

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years relevant experience.
  • Working experience, certifications, or bachelor’s degree.
