What You Will Be Doing 

As HR Manager for NL, you will work closely with the European HR Team, the Global People team as well as leaders and managers locally and abroad to drive the People Team strategy and vision for NL, in alignment with ChargePoint’s business goals.  

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving the people strategy for ChargePoint’s Netherlands offices, helping the organisation to scale.
  • Actively contribute to the design, development, local implementation and coordination of HR strategies, policies and operations in partnership with the business and regional & corporate leadership.
  • Help to make ChargePoint a great place to work by creating a positive work environment and driving a healthy culture in the region.
  • Providing a full spectrum of both strategic and tactical HR support for a wide range of processes in the employee life cycle such as recruiting, employee onboarding, personal data changes, talent management programs, local benefits and offboarding.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with the regional labour laws.
  • Support the mobility of talent (international transfers, visa, sponsorship application, etc.)
  •  Provide guidance and counsel to employees and managers on development and performance matters.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Works Council, ensuring clear communication and fostering a healthy relationship, to align on organisational decisions and initiatives that impact employees.
  • Effectively partner with Central HR Functions such as Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Talent Management, DEI, Business Partners etc. to support various programs and initiatives.
  • Leading, developing, and working on special and cross-functional projects on an enterprise-wide basis.
  • Establish a robust communication model within NL to maximise connection between the business and employees.
  • Working with our external providers for benefits, health & safety, and others.
  • Supporting audits and driving process enhancements.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint 

  • You are an experienced and credible HR professional with a breadth of functional and generalist experience.
  • You understand key HR issues and trends and can leverage insights to inform strategy.  
  • You are pragmatic and business focused, able to integrate the needs of stakeholders and in particular the perspectives of HR teams and Line Managers across our business. You work to understand their challenges and priorities and ensure these are met and addressed.
  • You are an active listener and a strong communicator, with a track record of building relationships and partnering with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. You understand and value different perspectives and viewpoints.
  • You bring a strong problem-solving mindset and toolkit to assess and drive projects forward, creating impact through rigorous project management and solution focused outcomes.
  • You are self-motivated and resourceful, able to work independently to find and deliver the best outcome. At the same time, you are a true team player, willing to lean in, support your colleagues and do what is needed to get the job done.
  • You thrive in a fast paced, intellectually energising environment. You are adaptable, have a can-do attitude and are willing and able to deliver results for both urgent matters as well as execution of long-term plans.
  • You are a strong character who can deal with difficult situations easily and has ability to influence, overcome resistance and deliver change and positive outcomes with buy-in
  • You are a trustworthy partner for staff in all personal and professional related matters

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years professional experience in People/HR function/roles
  • Proven track record of driving HR projects to completion as well as fostering a positive workplace culture
  • Advanced skills in creating and delivering MS PowerPoint; MS Word; MS Excel; familiarity with UKG/Workday/Greenhouse, and other HR/business systems beneficial
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and English language skills (german is a plus)
  • Experience working closely with line managers, executives, and employees across all levels and various countries
  • Very good understanding of local and regional laws and compliance mindset.
